Since Paul was in America for Christmas, and because we had so many other plans around Christmas, I promised Paul that I’d make him an English Christmas Dinner.
On Monday, I made roast, roast potatoes, brussel sprouts (paul had peas & carrots), and trifle. As i was running short on time, I cooked the leftover roast today, and used the drippings to make Yorkshire Pudding. Paul said that it tasted nice, so I must’ve done something right. He also said that Aunt Bettie would be proud of me because my trifle tasted so good.
I don’t think I’ll be winning any cooking contests, but at least I know how to do these things, so I can make them for Paul again in the future. I think when mum comes over in a few weeks, she can make some of Paul’s favorites.
