but Elizabeth has been a super cranky child lately.  She’s hardly sleeping during the day (but still doing well at night) and has been crying a lot.  It’s been a month since tooth #1, so we thought maybe that was it, but nothing’s happening. 

After I got home yesterday, I took her on a very long trip to the grocery store and that calmed her down very nicely.  Maybe she likes shopping and was upset because she hadn’t gone in a day or two? 

We’re both suffering from headache’s lately, which isn’t helping things.  Cameron is back from his week at Fish Lake with his dad and is quite sunburned (again).  You’d think that he’d learn and put sunblock on, but he doesn’t. 

Around the house, we have the baseboards painted and 1/2 way up.  The basement has been partially painted, after a grueling decision on a paint color.  The one we picked looks kinda dark on the sample, but now that it’s up, it doesn’t look bad at all.  I’ll post pictures once it’s up.

Another chore that I got done this weekend was to build a food dehydrator.  We’ve tried it out on apples & peaches so far, and it works great! This week I’ll try it out on potatoes and then cook them to see if they taste alright.
