Welcome to a new year!   On the 31st of December, Paul & I were thinking — at this time next year, Elizabeth will have learned to roll over, will be eating solid foods, walking, talking & sleeping through the night.  She’ll nearly be to the point of being potty trained also.  It’s amazing what can happen in only a year.  Elizabeth is growing rapidly.  Today she is 18 weeks old.

It’s been difficult to come back to work after having two 4-day weekends in a row.  I didn’t get the chores done that I wanted to get done, but a few were accomplished, so that’s good, I suppose.  I was able to put together 30 books for Paul to sell online AND the bathroom got cleaned, laundry done, and dishes done daily.  I also watched a lot of TV and caught up on some sleep.

Update on Cameron:  He trimmed his beard, and looks a lot better.  He spent NYE at Anne’s, and was home promptly at 1am.  Cameron also got his permanent name tag from Target.  During the entire time off school for the holiday, Target only had him working a couple of days.   Buster missed Cameron while he was at his dad’s.

I learned something today — it’s common for hair to fall out by the handful after having a baby.  Although it was years ago, I don’t remember this the first time around.  It’s quite scary having so much hair fall out every day…. just gobs of it.  According to all the ladies at the court, though, it’s normal.
