Saturday was hectic.   We woke up and hurried out the door, leaving mum & Elizabeth at home, to get haircuts for the boys…. they look so handsome!

After the haircuts, we got back home and packed up the stroller and headed out to the Dicken’s Festival.  I’m not sure how they were able to fit so many booths in the Dixie Center — it was packed solid.  There was hardly any room to move people through, let alone a stroller.    A while back, Paul and my brother went to a gun show and Paul brought me back some terrific cranberry orange bread.  The same booth was at the D.Festival, so I got a few loaves of that, with a couple cherry pecan loaves.   Mum got a few things also, and then we ate lunch there.  (Gyros, nummy!)

After getting home and preparing to put the extra bread in the freezer for later, I noticed that the guy only gave me one orange loaf, and I got FOUR cherry pecan loaves.  Very, VERY upsetting, as the cranberry orange bread is my most favorite!!!  augh!!!  They don’t have a local shop, so I can’t go exchange or complain.

We also went out and did some shopping later in the afternoon.  I won’t say where we went, because some of you might see something under the Christmas tree from our trip.

Elizabeth was very fussy at night, but fell asleep at 9pm and didn’t wake up until 4am.  It was very nice to have a long, uninterrupted sleep for most of the night.   She slept in until about 8:30.   This is why having such a busy day can be good — it wears out the child, so she sleeps better at night.
